New Beginnings: I Am Living Fre
Updated: Aug 24, 2020
I want to use this space to elaborate on my journey from makeup artistry (Tickle My Face Artistry) to I Am Living Fre. After many years as an entrepreneur, I knew I needed something new to bridge beauty and health, and share my passion for holistic wellness.
Makeup artistry has been the most fun, rewarding thing I've ever gotten paid to do. I've met so many new people through it, learned from a few of the most talented artists in the industry, and gained friendships from artist peers and clients. Enhancing others' outer beauty brings out an inner glow and confidence boost that honestly brings me much joy. Over time as I entered my own optimum health journey, my passions have shifted to wanting to make a more significant impact on inner beauty. Asking myself, "Can I bring value to someone else by sharing my personal journey and handmade products?" Hopefully, the answer is yes!
As far as makeup artistry goes, I had intentions to continue with bridal makeup artistry for Memphis area brides as I moved forward with Living Fre endeavors. However, with COVID-19 still spreading rapidly 5 months later with no end in sight, I've accepted that I can't say what I'll be doing next year. I am focusing on my commitment to my 2020 brides (who are now 2021 brides) while holding off on any new bridal commitments. All that to say, Tickle My Face Artistry will remain on lockdown for a while.
So more about Living Fre...
It's hard to call it a business, although I have legally made it Living Fre, LLC. It feels more like a passion project with no boundaries. I've had to retrain my thoughts around business ownership, embracing that it doesn't have to look one way. If you don't want to specialize in one product and create a perfectly curated social media, you don't have to. I'm figuring it all out as I go and forever learning how to live FREe.
Stay tuned for more blog posts on topics I am passionate about - healing with plants, natural beauty regimens, easy plant-based recipes, etc.
For now, my store consists of two types of handmade sea moss gel and raw Irish sea moss. You can read more about that in the next blog post.
If you've made it this far, thank you so much for reading and I look forward to engaging with you!
Peace, Love, and Blessings
